o Keep a watch on the architecture of your house. The front yard should depend on the architectural style of the home. Many people make oval shaped or diagonal shaped front yard in accordance with the architectural style of the building.
Because you are going to be designing the front landscape around accessibility, the first thing you should decide on is where your paths and driveway are going to go. In many cases this may already be decided for you depending on where your garage is. Once you know where these important parts of the front yard are then you need to create a landscaping design around them.
A well crafted small garden design could be desirable to people for a number of reasons. First, the outdoor space suitable for being turned into a garden could be rather small. Alternatively there could be plenty of outdoor space, but the person may not want to make a large garden. Also if the garden space is set in an urban setting there may only be a balcony or small patio available for a garden installation.
You probably dont spend too much time in your front yard so you might be tempted to think that the landscaping is not as important, but that would be a mistake. Not only will a beautifully designed landscaping the front of your house give a good impression to people who are visiting, but it may also increase the appeal of your house to potential buyers if you are thinking of selling.
Landscape architecture is the design of outdoor space using the compositional elements of vegetation, landform, water and structures such as walls, seating, lighting, steps etc. The U.S.A. is a large country with varied geographical resources presenting opportunities to landscape architects to improvise with and accommodate these resources. Even though there is minimal threat to natural habitats the growing urbanization and moving population is encouraging construction and designing of neighborhood parks or playgrounds. These are relatively small but of intensive use for education, health and recreation purposes.
